She cuddled close to him, closing her eyes, “I knew you loved me. What I was afraid of was drowning in this love with you,” Kadiaka said.

Andy’s grip tightened on her, and his arms slid around her neck. His mouth was near her ear.

“It seems like I have known you all my life,” he said. He was aware of each breath she took, of each movement she made and it stirred the fire hotter and higher within him. Reluctantly, he lowered her to her feet in knee deep water.

“I am tipsy, that drink…” she muttered and got out of the pool immediately. He rushed after her, held her hands and pinned her to the wall. They were naked, cold and wanting each other so badly.

He wanted to possess her mind and her body. He wanted her to belong to him in every way a woman could belong to a man. His body swelled and throbbed just thinking about making love to her. She was different from any other woman he’d known.

He was trying to remember the faces of hundreds of women who had warmed his bed over the years, and there had been plenty of them. None of them left a lasting impression. Not even Sana.

He began to kiss her, and touch every sensitive part of her body. He moaned softly when she began to touch him too. Her heart was beating so fast she could hardly speak. He stared at her lips and watched as she shivered, then he carried her in his arms and took her to his bedroom.

“You have been ripping me apart since,” he said and dragged her to himself. “Before now, I was honor bound to keep myself distant. But I am now free to tell you what I want, what I desire most in the world.”

She moved her mouth closer to his, seeking his lips. She knew it was the wrong thing to do, but she wanted him to kiss her. Just one more kiss. She would be proud if he would be the first to pass through her hymen.

Her surrender was his undoing. His arms slid around her shoulders, and he crushed her breasts against his chest. He was not gentle as his mouth ravished hers, molding and shaping it to fit his. He put all his power in the kiss, and then he became gentle when he felt her rapid breathing.

His lips moved over hers and then to the nape of her neck. “I have been wanting to do this for so long.” When he raised his head, he stared into her passion-filled eyes. Without guilt he was using all his male prowess to his advantage, and it worked; he could see it in her eyes.

“I will marry you,” he said.

“No!” Her voice came out in a painful whisper. She was confused. Not knowing what she really wanted from him. She moved away from him, turning her back while she gathered her courage. “I can’t marry you,” she said.

He pulled her against him so hard that her back rested against his chest, he pressed his body tight along hers, sliding his arms around her waist to bring her closer.

“You have to marry me. You have to.”

“But you’re married,” she managed to say.

“I am a king. King of Najira and I will marry you.”

“You will marry another woman after me,” she said.

“And what if I don’t?” He kissed the back of her neck and felt her tremble.

“Be my wife, I beg of you,” he said.

He twisted her around and took his mouth to her throat, going further on the attack. She tried to remember all the reasons she shouldn’t marry him, but any objection she might have come up with was stifled when his mouth settled on hers. As fire streaked through her veins, and her heart skipped several beats, she could no longer resist him. For so long she had been alone, and then he came into her life. She couldn’t imagine going on without him.

He raised his head and looked at her with an expression of inquiry. “You will be my wife.” Her lips tingled from his kiss, and she could hardly think of anything else.

She gave up her body to him and suddenly he began to make love to her. He handled her gently until he stopped and looked into her eyes. “Painful?” he asked.

“Yes,” she whispered softly.

“The only time something passed through it was during the surrogate process?” he asked. She nodded. He laughed softly.

She was still dazed, everything happened so fast. In a move that surprised him, she stared into his eyes and said, “I am glad I didn’t let any other man pass through me before now.”

“I am not very good at being a lover, but I’ll try my best with you,” he said.
